Southern University Hotel
The University is one of the most beautiful university sites in the South. The Baton Rouge Campus is located on Scott's Bluff overlooking the Mississippi River in the northern section of the City of Baton Rouge. The campus encompasses 512 acres, with an experimental station on an additional 372-acre site, located five miles north of the main campus.
Southern University, with a dedicated and talented faculty of teacher-scholars consisting of approximately 500 persons, provides opportunities for students to do internships and summer assignments in industry and with the federal government. Southern provides advantages for intellectual and personal growth through training by the division of Military Science (Army ROTC) and Naval Science (Navy and Marine ROTC).
